The Michigan Department of Education (MDE), Office of Field Services (OFS) has posted 
a schedule and a video explaining the 2010-11 Consolidated Application process.

Conservative estimated 2010-11 allocations for the following grant programs are 
available on the MDE website to help local education agencies (LEAs) plan for the 
coming year (http://www.michigan.gov/mde/0,1607,7-140-6530_30334-127227--

 Title I, Part A - Improving Basic Programs 
 Title I, Part C - Education of Migratory Children 
 Title II, Part A - Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting 


 Title III, Part A - Language Acquisition Program 

 

Information is available on the MDE website for the following programs for which 
estimated allocations have not been provided: 

 
 Title I, Part D  Prevention/Intervention for Delinquent Children/Youth 
 Title III, Part A  Immigrant Program 


 Title VI, Part B - Rural and Low-Income School (RLIS) Program 

 

 



Several program allocations are based on MSDS data. LEAs should work with their 
staff to ensure that student data is submitted accurately. 

 

This information is provided to help LEAs prepare plans to improve student 
achievement, and budget for federal supplementary resources during their financial and 
program planning process.
